A type of terrain that is suitable for cross-country mountain biking, with relatively short and frequent ups and downs. No place for long, consistent, technical uphills or downhills. Nothing &#8220;epic&#8221;, speaking in mountain biking terms.<\/p>\n<p>Was Tadas, from Vilnius, aware of what he was asking when inquring about an expert level mtb tour in the Carpathian mountains surrounding Bra\u0219ov city? Most likely not. But the group seemed quite determined, a bunch of young people used to the difficulties of endurance competitions back home. So why not? Here we were, then, ready to hit the Transylvanian high trails at mid September with Ausrine, Karolis, Aurimas and Tadas, anxious to ride along the 2000m+ mountain crests and peaks.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n<p>A fost, dup\u0103 cum pute\u021bi b\u0103nui, epic. Am z\u0103cut ca \u0219op\u00e2rlele la soare, am d\u00e2rd\u00e2it de frig \u00een b\u0103taia v\u00e2ntului, am chiuit de pl\u0103cere termin\u00e2nd \u00een pedale sec\u021biuni complicate la deal sau la vale. Am povestit, am transpirat, am r\u00e2s, am suferit. Ne-am delectat cu m\u00e2nc\u0103rurile excep\u021bionale preg\u0103tite de doamna Minerva.
